Abbey Road Control was started in 2005 by Charles "Charlie" Altmiller, as Traffic Control Inc. to provide contracted work zone safety to highway construction and utility companies in and around Pennsylvania. Traffic Control Inc. was one of the first companies in the United States to specialize on this particular area of highway and roadway safety, allowing partners to concentrate on their own areas of expertise. The company remains a leader in the industry today.
In 2010 Traffic Control Inc. merged with a road striping company and Abbey Road Control was born.
Today Abbey Road Control Inc. is a full-service work zone safety company providing such services as professional flagging personnel, traffic cones, work zone signs, barrels, message boards, arrow boards, and crash trucks to name a few.
On the painting side, ARC is one of the few companies offering states, local municipalities, and contractors not only water born line striping, but also epoxy line and legend painting with superior longevity over water based products.
